Man I am a research nut when it comes to searching for hosting providers. Especially when it concerns my business presence on the web for vAusTek, Cretec Solutions, and BizBuzzed (coming soon). With a solution like BizBuzzed which will be a Business Directory service as well as a B2B Referral Networking site, I had to also be cautious to server load. So a shared host or a low end VPS provider would not do it.
So I looked all around the normal places to get real reviews, not the faked sponsored ones put on by the fake review sites. One name kept coming up and it was VPSlatch. Now looking on Web Hosting Talk, a great place to find user reviews and deals, I found many positive and a few negative reviews and posts on VPSLatch. Most of the negative were cleared due to either end user issues or the solution just not being a fit in which both sides agreed in the end.

You know it is funny, I have always had interest in starting my own business. No matter where I was in my career I always found that there was something missing in the satisfaction side of my work. I have worked for some companies that I truly enjoyed and respect to this day. The most enjoyable where Kelsey-Seybold a Health Care system in Houston and Egenera a pioneer in I/O Virtualization (9 years before Cisco’s UCS).
However I always felt that there was just things I could not accomplish within the constraints of being an employee of a company. Not because the company had bad ideas or were not willing to listen to ideas of the employees. More because an established business can not change directions on a dime. It has to stay within the confines of the road that it decided to follow. Drastic changes can mean a bumpy ride or even a catastrophic crash for an established business.

Everything you need to know about this blog is that it is here because out of all of the other sites and blogs I run, I have nowhere to post about anything, everything, or nothing in particular.
I run a business called vAusTek LLC. and so I can not just post anything on the blog. I run a virtualization / data center optimization blog and you probably guessed it, I blog about technology in the data center. I have several other sites, groups, and places I can write about things, but none where I can just write about anything.
So here we are, a blog about whatever I think about writing about. Who knows what might show up here on this blog.
